Fly Ball Communication
To call for the fly ball, yell “BALL, BALL, BALL!”
All other fielders in the area should yell for him to “TAKE IT, TAKE IT, TAKE IT!”
Do not call a fly ball until it is on its way down.
Call the ball only when you are sure that you can catch it.
Let others know if you can’t get there by yelling “TAKE IT, TAKE IT, TAKE IT!” to encourage them to go make the play.
If the ball is hit in your direction and you lose track of it, let other players know that you cannot see it and be obvious about it so they can help.
